Ohhh Borzoi

Ohhh Borzoi. 

I have worked on this painting for a few months. A big painting. Somewhat abstract. A roadmap of the mind. A pattern of thoughts.

I like sighthounds. I like thin dogs with long snouts. When I saw this ad in an old LIFE magazine i knew I wanted to use it for something. I glued it on to the canvas. Sealed and painted over. Many layers of paint. Gathered some images from the old magazine that caught my eye.

Then i just painted and let it take me where it pleased.

Here we go around the corner. Hold on.
